The World’s Most Cost-Effective Tool Against Malaria.
Health Alliance Network distributes Vestergaard’s full suite of WHO-prequalified insecticide-treated nets (ITNs). These technologies are specifically engineered for malaria prevention in regions with varied transmission patterns and evolving insecticide resistance.
- “Over 1 billion PermaNet® nets have been distributed worldwide, helping avert 2.2 billion malaria cases and 12.7 million deaths.” (World Malaria Report 2024)
Engineered for Comfort and Compliance.
The PermaNet® Difference (The "Soft Net" Advantage)
We are the only distributor offering a complete portfolio of soft polyester nets. Unlike “stiffer” polyethylene alternatives, our soft-mesh design is favoured by users for its breathability and comfort, which significantly increases consistent use and protection rates.
Key Benefits
- WHO-Prequalified: Tested to the highest international standards.
- Ready-to-Use: No re-treatment or dipping required.
- Safety First: Odorless and safe for pregnant women and infants.
PermaNet® Dual: State-of-the-Art 3rd Generation Protection.
PermaNet® Dual is an advanced long-lasting insecticidal mosquito net designed to provide enhanced protection against malaria-transmitting mosquitoes, including those resistant to pyrethroids. Developed to support global malaria prevention efforts, PermaNet® Dual combines two active ingredients, deltamethrin and chlorfenapyr to improve effectiveness and increase mosquito susceptibility rates.
The net incorporates both deltamethrin, a pyrethroid insecticide, and chlorfenapyr, a non-pyrethroid active ingredient that works through a different modes of action. This dual-ingredient technology helps combat insecticide resistance, a growing challenge in malaria-endemic regions.
PermaNet® Dual is designed for long-term durability and effectiveness, maintaining protective performance even after multiple washes when used according to recommended guidelines. The net serves as both a physical barrier and a chemical deterrent, helping reduce mosquito bites during sleeping hours when malaria transmission is highest.
The use of PermaNet® Dual supports public health initiatives aimed at lowering and eliminating malaria infections, reducing disease burden among vulnerable populations such as children and pregnant women, and contributing to healthier communities. The product is widely recognized in malaria control programs and is used in partnership with governments, healthcare organizations, and international health agencies.
Key Features
- Dual active ingredient technology
- Effective against resistant mosquito populations
- Long-lasting protection
- Durable and user-friendly design
- Effective even after repeated washing
- Supports malaria prevention and public health programs
PermaNet® Dual represents an important innovation in vector control and continues to play a significant role in advancing malaria prevention strategies worldwide.
PermaNet® 3.0: The Pioneer in Fighting Insecticide Resistance.
PermaNet® 3.0 is an advanced long-lasting insecticidal mosquito net developed to provide enhanced protection against malaria-transmitting mosquitoes, particularly in areas where mosquito resistance to standard insecticides has become a major public health concern. The net combines proven mosquito control technology with an added synergist to improve effectiveness against resistant mosquito populations.
PermaNet® 3.0 incorporates two active components: deltamethrin, a pyrethroid insecticide, and piperonyl butoxide (PBO), a synergist that boosts the effectiveness of the insecticide by helping overcome mosquito resistance mechanisms. The roof panel of the net contains both deltamethrin and PBO, while the side panels are treated with deltamethrin, providing comprehensive protection for users.
Designed for long-lasting use, PermaNet® 3.0 maintains its protective properties even after repeated washing and extended household use under recommended conditions. The net acts both as a physical barrier and as a chemical control tool that repels, incapacitates, and kills mosquitoes that come into contact with it.
Studies conducted across several African countries have demonstrated the effectiveness of PermaNet® 3.0 in reducing mosquito bites and improving protection against pyrethroid-resistant malaria vectors. Research has shown that the addition of PBO significantly improves the performance of the net compared to standard pyrethroid-only mosquito nets.
Key Features
- Long-lasting insecticidal protection
- Combination of deltamethrin and PBO technology
- Designed to combat insecticide-resistant mosquitoes
- Durable and washable material
- Effective for household and community malaria prevention
- Supports public health and malaria control programs
PermaNet® 3.0 continues to play an important role in malaria prevention initiatives worldwide by helping protect vulnerable populations, supporting disease control efforts, and contributing to healthier communities.
PermaNet® 2.0: The Most-Tested LLIN in the World.
PermaNet® 2.0 is a World Health Organization-recommended long-lasting insecticidal mosquito net designed to provide effective protection against malaria-transmitting mosquitoes. The net combines physical protection with insecticidal action, helping reduce mosquito bites and the spread of mosquito-borne diseases in households and communities.
Manufactured using durable polyester fabric, PermaNet® 2.0 is coated with deltamethrin, a proven insecticide that knocks down and kills mosquitoes upon contact. The insecticidal treatment is incorporated into the net to remain effective even after multiple washes and extended use under recommended conditions.
PermaNet® 2.0 is designed for long-term use and supports malaria prevention programs across many countries in Africa, Asia, and other malaria-endemic regions. The net acts as both a protective barrier during sleep and a vector control tool that helps reduce mosquito populations indoors.
The product has been evaluated in multiple field studies assessing durability, effectiveness, and long-term performance under real household conditions. Research has shown that PermaNet® 2.0 maintains insecticidal activity over extended periods while contributing significantly to malaria prevention efforts.
Key Features
- Long-lasting insecticidal protection
- Coated with deltamethrin insecticide
- Durable polyester material
- Effective even after repeated washing

PermaNet® 3.0 continues to play an important role in malaria prevention initiatives worldwide by helping protect vulnerable populations, supporting disease control efforts, and contributing to healthier communities.
Science & Community Impact
- The Malaria Atlas Project (MAP): Recent analysis confirms that ITNs are responsible for 72% of malaria cases averted over the last 25 years.
- Promoting Net Longevity: When cared for properly, a PermaNet® remains lethal to mosquitoes for up to three years. Health Alliance Network provides educational support to ensure communities understand correct care and use.
